What do you take with you when you have to leave everything behind?
CASES is a contemporary circus and physical theater performance about the artists’ own migration stories.
Stories of leaving, of borders, and of new beginnings, told through the language of the body: acrobatics, equilibristics, juggling — without a single word.
45–50 minutes. Recommended for ages 10+.
Tickets
Free — for spectators up to 26 years old (inclusive) (50% of seats, funded by the EU).
Paid — for all other spectators (50% of seats).
“Cases is our attempt to establish a dialogue: to talk about our experience, our encounters and memories, about the possibility of discovering something new in the world or mourning what we have lost. If our performance could tell each city we visit one single thought, it would be this: we are here and we would like to meet you.”
Larisa Afanasyeva, founder and artistic director of Upsala-Circus
